review + reveal: charmed aroma rose quartz candle

In my last post about Charmed Aroma, I mentioned that there were STORE CLOSING signs absolutely everywhere. Given the little that was left in the store at that time, it seemed that their days were numbered. Imagine my surprise when there was new stock at the store during my last visit to the mall. (But the STORE CLOSING signs remained. Perhaps stock from another location was brought there? It's hard to know.) Whether this was my last visit to Charmed Aroma remains to be seen, but I did decide to bring home one more candle. Though there were several that were tempting, it was the Rose Quartz Peace and Harmony candle that ultimately won out. Keep reading for another Charmed Aroma review and reveal.

This Rose Quartz Peace and Harmony candle came with a ring inside. (There was another option that had a necklace, but there was one particular ring design that I was after.) In terms of the design, this was pretty standard. It is a two-wick jar candle with a cute label on the front. Nothing groundbreaking but certainly what you would expect to see. As for the scent? This is a sweet floral. It has a pretty strong scent, so you don't need to burn it for a long time to make the room smell fabulous. According to the brand, this is "an enchanting scent blend of wild elderberry, lily blossom, and warm sandalwood." I really like the smell of this rose quartz candle. Now for the fun stuff....the reveal. There were five possible options and I really had my heart set on a rose quartz ring with a key design. It looked super cute and made me think of Sailor Moon. So, what was inside?

It was not the ring with the key design. Alas! That being said, this design is actually really cute still. It has a rose gold band and rose gold accents. There is a heart shaped stone (I love heart shaped jewellery) and it is wrapped like a present. There are sparkly stones as well as a cute little bow detail. Though this was not my first choice, it is definitely a ring that matches my style. As with all Charmed Aroma candles, it is possible to appraise the value on the brand website. Honestly? I was surprised to see the value was only $20. That didn't even cover the cost of the candle itself. Luckily, the design is pretty. I also really love rose quartz pieces. After all, pink is my favourite colour and the stone is supposed to represent unconditional love.

What do you think of this accessory? Do you like Charmed Aroma candles?
